Currently in D.C. — September 26 2023: Another hot and humid day

Plus, meet the new DC newsletter writer, Myriam Vidal Valero!

The weather, currently.

Sunny with some clouds with possible rain and thunderstorms

September is starting and it brings a warning for all the cold weather lovers like me: hold back your fall attires! Today highs will make it to 100°F with medium to high humidity rates. My curly hair is not looking forward to that. Although we’ll experience a cool breeze at night, there is a heat warning in place throughout the day so, remember to drink your fluids and limit your outdoor activities.

As for my wishes to get a pumpkin spice latte, I think I’ll take it with lots and lots of ice.
