Currently in D.C. — September 7, 2023: Hot and cloudy
Plus, announcing Currently Sponsorships — a new way to reach our local audience.
The weather, currently.
A cloudy morning turns into thunderstorms in the afternoon
The hot weather continues. For those like me who like outdoor jogging or exercising, I suggest that you do it early in the morning before we reach a high of 97°F. This would be a great opportunity to go watch a movie in your favorite theater. I’m so ready to see The Nun II, but to each its own. If you love the outdoors in the heat, remember to bring your sunblock and hydrate constantly.
Scattered thunderstorms are expected in the afternoon and through the night, and there’s a 40% chance of rain. I hope to get some droplets in my window to listen to as I fall asleep.
